Casper the Friendly Ghost made new friends in the 90's on the big screen in this sentimental, hilarious, imaginative, and heartfelt adaptation of the Harvey 50's comic strip and cartoons. But this time teaming up with hilarious uncles, this version asks a new generation of fans two What Ifs if Casper never made a friend in his afterlife and reveals his emotional past. Christina Ricci and Bill Pullman have deeply-moving father-daughter chemistry. Cathy Moriarty, Eric Idle, and the Ghostly Trio are hilarious seperately. The VFXS are dazzling and Ricci and Casper are touching to watch as a new generation experiences the beloved phantom, at last, finding a friend. Laughter, heartfelt moments, scare-ific fun, and over 1:30 of family-friendly 90's entertaiment are in store for the whole family.
Bottom Line: Casper is a 4-star fun-filled 1995 must-see for all ages.
